OUT NOW! The Neurodiversity Handbook for Trainee Teachers

I am so pleased to announce the arrival of my new book within a series that I am writing. This book; The Neurodiversity Handbook for Trainee Teachers considers a neurodivergent world which is vital in society today, and even more so in the classroom. This book will support the

knowledge and development as a trainee teacher so you can better understand the complexities of working with neurodivergent pupils. Starting with a model of difference rather than deficit, this book will guide trainee teachers to understand neurodiversity within the classroom, providing strategies which aim to support their students.

Currently in production is a similar book for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants which is due out in December, then a companion book on SEND for Trainee Teachers looking at SEND processes, policy and support in school, this is due out April 24. I am now writing the SEND handbook for parents - more to come on this soon!
